Step 2 : Ascertaining what the customer wants (planning for data collection)
In planning for your data collection, consider these questions:
Who are our customers?
Which services do our customers use?
How do our customers use our services?
How do our customers define success?
How can we make our customers more successful?
What do our customers value?
What changes do our customers see coming in their environment?
What do our customers see as our distinctive value to their success?
How you have your customers respond is very important.
Should you survey them using quantitative methods to analyze their
responses, or gather responses that would result in qualitative
data, or is a combination of both best?
Let's continue on and find
out more about quantitative and qualitative data.
